This 8 ounce bottle of premium specialty shampoo goes a long way. Use this concentrated shampoo full strength to aid in the relief of common pet skin and coat odors and ailments or for regular bath use you may dilute up to 3:1 for still a great clean. Remember like Ferris used to bark, if you didn't "GET PRIMPED" you just got hosed!

Why was Primp-n-Shampoo (Primp-n-Poo) Created?
Formerly Primp-n-Poo, it is now Primp-n-Shampoo with a newly re-designed label but you'll always see our love-able' Spokes Dog Ferris' Handsome Mug front and center. He had a better personality than most people!
We needed a product that would take away the offensive odor our English Bulldog (Ferris) always seemed to have. We had waited almost thirty years to purchase our first Bulldog and we were not about to send him packing, but he stunk and we needed to change that.
We'd bathe him once a week and three days later he would need another bath. He smelled horrible; We had tried all the recommended diet changes possible thinking that would solve it but nothing worked! After exhausting the slush fund trying all the high priced vet recommended shampoos that were "the best" and "were sure to work" we even tried mid-priced groomer, breeder, dog show participant recommended shampoos and eventually even the cheapest, but he always needed a bath after three days. Nothing worked.
Our original goal was to create a product that would use an aromatherapy approach and fix the issue we were having with our dog once and for all and to our knowledge none existed. Since we own a fragrance and essential oil business we were able to utilize our aroma-therapists and chemists to research and develop a specific product. They studied many of the commercially available shampoos and other grooming products that focused on the many various issues pets face. Noticing these many companies offer multiple products to alleviate specific conditions ultimately changed our goal. We then decided that while the revenue and profit they were seeing by offering multiple products may be nice for them, we as a consumer friendly company decided a more affordable and practical approach for the consumer would be to develop one aromatherapeutic product to address the many issues faced by many different animals and breeds, not just our one specific issue (Stinky Dog). This made our research and development even more costly and time consuming because we focused then on an all in one product coming up with the multiple purpose; Primp-n-Shampoo, the one that does it all.
Finally we were ready to give Ferris his first bath with Primp-n-Shampoo, after Ferris first bath he didn't get his usual bad smell back until one month later (not 3 days) and his second bath in Primp-n-Shampoo wasn't until two months later (not 1 week)! It was then we were convinced we had not only reached our goal but more importantly we knew we had accomplished something positive to share with other pets in need. Using it full strength to fix an issue will accomplish best results however, if you just need to Knock the Dirt Off you may dilute this shampoo 3:1.
NOT To be used on cats. We really hope that your animal will find relief: we've found it in fact works well on almost all animals; every kind of dog, all coats, fur and hair, all the farm animals you can Show and think of..., and not just rodeo working but fancy show "Horses" love it too, it's a wonder worker on their tails, coat and manes!
We know everyone can say theirs is the best, we bought into that same idea with what the market had to offer, lost a bunch of money and had to invest an even more enormous sum for R & D to get it right. We hope they will answer any questions you may have. Please understand that there is no returns with the shampoo, due to sanitary reasons and other factors. If for some odd reason you find that this shampoo is not a good fit for your pet please give it to another pet in need, local rescue or shelter, there is always unfortunately a neglected animal that would love to receive it as a donation.
